ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if any other retailers are selling the jacket? Dogfunk, Loserkids, and REI are all sold out. I was only able to get a large before everything sold out, but it's way too big on me. Someone is selling a medium on Ebay, I offered to trade her my large, compensate the difference between the retail and her reserve price (which is $50), and give her my hunter green BB Dakota jacket, to no avail. Talk about selfish! =( I hate that this jacket doesn't fit.

Thanks everyone. The seller was such a pain, and so rude. I offered her my large Billabong jacket and my hunter green BB Dakota jacket as well as compensation, and she claimed "Sorry, there's 4 people watching it", but just listed a second sized medium, so I'm sure she has plenty more to spare, she probably bought quite a few in each size with plans to sell them for 3x-5x the retail price. I'm so tired of money hungry jerks trying to monopolize the fashion for people who like the clothes from Twilight, it really makes it discouraging. Anything to make some extra money I guess, this world thrives on greedy people.

I think they said that it would be out around September but you can ask them to email you when it is available and they will notify you when it becomes available again.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note about Bella's sweater in this picture. It is driving me crazy that no one can find the exact one. I have tried MANY sites and no one knows. ReplyDeletei think it runs pretty normal, if a touch on the small side. It is a shorter jacket and very form fitting. I'm a small/medium for most clothes and I really wish I'd gotten a medium.

Yeah it looks like you did. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that is one ugly sweater. I have the Tommy Hilfiger one you first pointed out and I like that one a lot more. Something about the design stopping midway that just looks incredibly unflattering and cheap.

ReplyDeleteI think the Hilfiger one is not that cute and that this one is better. I understand what you mean about it ending halfway though. I think that may be why they have it rolled up on Kristen and a tank top underneath it. Here is a picture of a baby blue one in the same style. Since I am going to get it altered to look more like Bella's (the turtleneck one) I figured I would get them in all the colors in case the seamstress needed them. LOL Glad that they were cheap!

Yah, the jacket is still at Pacsun! I went yesterday and when I asked the guy if they had any Billabong jackets for girls, he looked at me and said, "Are you looking for the Twilight jacket?" I was like, "Mayyybe..." lol He said they've been told how it was in the movie! So I got it, and I absolutely love it :)

that's really close! where did you get the turtle neck and how exactly did you have it altered? They have the hannah jacket in my local pack sun as well as TWO other jackets that look almost identical-I also found the original Bella jacket( BB Dakota) at my Macy's for UNDER $50!
ReplyDeleteAlso to the poster about the white thermal hoodie, I have found two things. Wet Seal and Forever 21 both have white burnout hoodies that look similar but don't have the buttons. I belive PacSun has a thermal with the same buttons but NOT the hood.
The sweater was made by Energie and I bought it for $9 on Ebay. I then paid someone on Etsy.com to take off the sleeves and change the neckline (it was a turtleneck originally) to a V neck.

ReplyDeleteThe purple henley and the sweater vest are both from Heritage 1981 (a brand of Forever 21). I have the purple henley and I remember seeing the sweater vest on the website. Unfortunately that was over a year ago and they don't have them any more. I wish I had bought the vest too.

yeah I'm not sure why they would use it, maybe cause it was cheap. I'm not 100% sure about the vest, but the purple top is for sure.
