There is a fake cosplaysky site coming around. The site has been stealing their pictures and designs so beware. The site is called mycosplaysky.com and they've stolen the pics even the logo from the original site.

I am not sure if this is the same company I used under a different name but I got both a replica of Bella's Rubbish jacket and her green taffeta party dress from a seller on Ebay. The items shown in the picture look pretty much identical and the turnaround is pretty fast. They make it to your exact measurements. Guess who I will be for Halloween in my green dress? ;o)
ReplyDeleteI had the rubbish jacket made by them. I sent them my exact measurements (I actually sent them a few centimeters smaller) and it came out bigger... way bigger ... I ended up paying 26 dollars more to take it to my tailor to have it taken in. But I did write them to tell them that and they offered a 20% discount on my next order... so i ordered bellas plaid jacket...same thing. and I even reminded them that they made it big before and to try to stick to my measurements. i just have the worst luck i guess since everyone thats ordered something there has loved it.

I just bought one of the green shirts from them. I will let everyone know how it turns out. So far though I have bought the Rubbish jacket and the green taffeta dress from them with no problems.
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem with my jacket(brown rubbish). I asked for it to be snug fit.and it came out large and was not sewn very well. it had buldges (puffy) in the back. But i do like to have everything exact. i took it to my grandma to get it all smoothed out in the back and the hood came out all wrong too. its cone-like when u have it on. I look like an elf. lol. hope this helps xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that's bothering me really with the Rubbish jacket replica is that the sleeves are so wide. Bella's was fitting to her arms, and that's why I'm going to try to take it to an alteration shop. I hope it works out well.

Did the original costume designers make Bella's plaid jacket or buy it? It looks very familiar like something worn in the 1980s. Is it vintage?

Today Oct 19th they refunded my money claiming they ran out of material and could not deliver in time. Seems they might have known earlier that they oversold their fabric supply. Seriously I would not recommend this place at all I got the curious gypsy thermal replica it was horrid and upon trying to return it they said they'd only return half the money which they never did they've just kept ignoring me since.
